Quite the mind and lovingly listen to the body, this relationship between mind and body will direct you to the peace within you. You will accept yourself as you are and become one with yourself. This becoming will ask for your breath, patience, and perseverance. It will teach you to surrender.
Artist Statement:
To behold is to believe. This series of artworks that I call “behold & flourish” is an interpretation of the constant struggle of the mind and body. Amid the suffering, there is a longing for contentment from within. By embodying unconditional self-acceptance, we can achieve that containment, which will reflect externally, and we will be able to flourish in the garden of life.
